Should I get the Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 to replace my Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8?

Ok, so in terms of lenses, I currently have the Canon 50mm f/1.8, the Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8, and the Canon 55-250mm f/4-5.6. I was thinking of saving up for the Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8.

Now, after giving it some thought, I realised that IF I were to get the Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 lens, I may find that I no longer use my Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8 due to it’s similar focal length. Now, my question is, should I A) Save up and buy the Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 and keep my 17-50mm f/2.8 as a backup in case I want to use something lighter, or with image stabilisation or should I B) Save up and buy the Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 and try to sell/swap my Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8 for a Sigma 10-20mm f/3.5 and have an overall range of 10-35/55-250 + My 50mm f/1.8 Prime Lens. I’m wanting to shoot portraits, as well as street/urban photography. (Both during the day and at night, which is why the f/1.8 aperture would come in handy) Either way I’m going to get the Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8, but I just want to know what I should do with my Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8 once I get it.
