X-T2 or X-E3?

I’ve been thinking about getting an X-E3, but with the sale on the X-T2, I am really tempted. Looking for real world usage thoughts between them.

I wouldn’t have considered the XT2 at list. Between the XT20 and the XE3 I liked the style of the XE3 better (as they are pretty much the same otherwise). I wish the XE3 had a flip out screen, I actually use that a bit on some other bodies but I don’t think it’s a deal breaker. Also wish the EVF was bigger (the T2 is great).

I am concerned about the size of the XT2. In the hand it feels a lot better than the XE3, but I am able to handle with XE3 just fine. For now, I primarily want something that is easy for travel / walking around where size and convenience matters (having the auto switch on the E3 is nice when you want to hand the camera to someone). The 18-55mm seems fine on both cameras, the 10-24 is a bit big on the E3, but I am not sure if that really matters much in practice (only have used in a store).

In summary the XE3 is pretty close to exactly what I want: good size, somewhat unobtrusive. Whereas the XT2 feels better in the hand due to size and may be easier to shoot with some of the larger lenses, but its lager and looks more aggressive. Eventually I planned on having something in the XE range and something in XT2 range. Part of me feels like I should keep with my plan on the XE3, but I am wondering if I am really missing out on the XT2.
