Nose grease/ oil is an old trick and works. Literally rub your finger on your nose and then on the seal. Whilst food grade silicon lubes can be used, chances are you will use too much and it will attract grit or swell the seal. A tiny amount of nose grease will make a big difference.

I can vouch for the nose grease. My 20mm 1.7 was very tight on my E-M10, and the nose grease treatment fixed it immediately. And the best part is that you have an unlimited amount of raw material to re-apply in the case is needed.
