The biggest pain really is for my IR camera. Because it's a full spectrum conversion, I have to use filters to get the appropriate effect, and they're not very cheap. Further, IR work is far more prone to flair than visible light, so you do need the hoods. IR filters aren't cheap (or if they are, they're no good!), so I've still only got 1 set (590nm, 720nm and 830nm are the most useful IMHO).
Flare, of course. Nobody ever accused me of having any flair.
If you're looking for specialised filters for EOS M cameras it's worth looking here; https://www.astronomik.com/en/clip-filter/clip-filter-for-canon-eos-m.html?___store=en or at an astronomic dealer. Astronomik do a separate version of this clip filters which works with the 11-22mm zoom but I'm not sure which varieties of filter are available for that one.
Thanks for that; looks like a very good solution.
With the postage cost from Germany it's probably better to have a word with Tring Astronomy, they were good to me.
Cheers, will do.
