Sony RX-100 M2 - NEW, boxed, unused £225
A mint condition (the LCD has a tiny, tiny mark on it in the corner) hardly used (V low way under 1K shutter count) Sony RX-100 M2 with 2x chargers (one original, one off brand dual battery charger, charges 2 at same time) and 2 batteries. Boxed and with all manuals, strap, charger, Mains plug adapter and 2 x batteries.
What to say? I have a 24MP Nikon D5300 with a 17-55mm F2.8 and this takes as good photos and also performs in as low light up to about ISO 6400! AF is even faster. Of course the DSLR is preferable for daily use and handling (for me) but this would make an excellent starting camera for someone getting into photography, or someone already into photography and wants a nice small, pocketable DSLR quality IQ camera for travel or walk about.
Large 1 inch 20MP sensor is very good on these, goes up to ISO 25600! Af is blisteringly fast. Lovely large tilting 3 inch, 1,229k-dot LCD screen! Features include - Built-in Flash, Face Detection, HDMI, Image Stabilisation, USB, autofocus, face detection, red-eye reduction. And steady shot image stabilisation for stills and also full HD at either 24/25p or 50/60p, in either AVCHD or MP4 formats.
Highlight feature has to be the 28-100mm eqvt f/1.8 - 4.9 CARL Zeiss Vario Sonar T* Coated zoom lens. Man is it sharp, contrasty and optimized for the sensor. Colours are amazing.
The build is as solid as compact cameras get. It's a miricale of engineering wit a solid aluminium finish. This is no cheap point and shoot.
Also has Wi-Fi technology, and NFC technology, allowing for one-touch transfer of images between it and other NFC devices so you can transfer your images on the web or to people's phones in seconds!
