Hi, thanks for the extensive explanation

By the way, would you buy the 85mm over the 60mm, if it wasn't for the macro? Because the 60mm is pricey , as you said it. I have the extensions tubes, and I love them. In terms of AF speed, stabilization, overall IQ, is the 85mm better? Are there reasons to go with the 60mm, over other lenses, if it isn't for the MAcro?

While I've heard the NX 85mm is a wonderful lens, I've never had a personal interest in it because my history tells me I wouldn't use it very often. This lens is close to a full frame 135mm lens, one of which I had for a number of years. Until I noticed I never used it and sold it. My  professional portrait work for decades was always with 50mm, 85mm and 100mm full frame fast prime lenses. I always hated the compressed distortion a 135mm lens made on a face, so it just sat unused in my studio. OTOH, the 60mm is close to the full frame 85mm, a focal length that has been a mainstay for me with full frame cameras for decades. The macro on the NX 60mm is in a way for me a bonus. YMMV.
