Feedback wanted - 18-150 vs. 18-55 + 55-200 combination
Re: Feedback wanted - 18-150 vs. 18-55 + 55-200 combination
Hi all. This is probably misplaced. I just purchased an M50 with the 22 2.0 which I love. I've reading the threads on M kit options and was ready to break out cash for the 18-150 but I'm hesitating. The samples look rather middle of the road bland to me. I'm looking for lenses with a character. E.g I adapted an FL 55MM 1.2 on my Sony Nex and that lense ROCKS. You can make a career with just that lense. It creates a look. I feel the 22mm 2.0 does that in it's own way. I will eventually add Mikaton 35mm .95, a fish-eye and re-adapt the FL 55mm fir the M. So back to the zoom- the images with 55-200 just look better to me- a bit crisper with that intangible I look for. But I know nothing about "original sizing" the image which seems to make a huge difference in crispness. To complicate things further, I'm starting to shoot street videos so in this regard I'm guessing the 18-150 wins. Feedback please.
