Ive been waiting for the 8-16 to come out but i wasnt expecting the 2k price tag so i have been rethinking if i really want to get it. My main use for it was gonna be landscape and night time photography which it looks like it could be very good at. Looking more into i can get the 16 14 and 18 for roughly the same price as the 8-16 and the only thing i would be missing out on would be less than 14mm but idk how much 8-13mm would benefit me. Also the weight and portability are looking alot better than 8-16. I may still get it but i just wanted to see if anyone else had the same second thoughts as me.

just for some background my current set up is XH1, Xpro 2, 16-55, 23f2, 35 1.4, 27f2, 50f2, 50-140

my dream wide angle set up would be d850 with 15-30 tamron lol
