New detailed images with the NX 60mm Macro on NX1
7

The NX 60mm Macro continues to show its wonderful capabilities for capturing details in the gardens this week. The female Blue Dasher Dragonfly was very patient with me, allowing the lens at its MFD to take her portrait. Take particular notice of its 1,000s of eyes in 100% mode in the DPR Gallery view. This is a ~1/4 crop of the original, which is here: Dragonfly

I noticed a tiny spec moving on the colorful garden lantern. This jumping spider was also patient with me, drawing in its legs at first as I went to MFD, but then raising its head and front legs after seeing its reflection in the lens. The blue on its head and legs is a reflection of the perfectly clear afternoon sky. This is a 3/4 crop. The original image is here: Jumping Spider

All 10 images from the gardens this passed week, including the above, taken with the 60mm Macro, 50-150 S and Rokinon 8mm (none posted from the 16-50 S yet) are now in my Flora and Fauna in the Virginia Gardens Gallery.
