Olympus and Pentax dead? ... Only Sony?

OK my title is a bit irritating. But...

Olympus:  2 cameras in 2017 and only one in 2018 up to now.  It appears to me that Sony joint venture / partnership with Olympus at different levels seems to be there to close the Olympus Camera brand in favor to Sony only.

Pentax: 2 cameras in 2016, 1 in 2017, 1 in 2018. Seriously, who would invest in that system?

What's the future? Nikon and Canon, the 2 big ones seems totally unable to follow Sony. They are developing new systems? When? Competitive?

Does all others are really competitive too?

What's left? Sony going at the speed of light and let all others behind?

What system should we invest in? Should we wait to see newer Nikon or Canon system?

Who manufacture sensors?

Does anyone really expect to have real Sony competition from any others manufacturer anytime soon?

Do I am so really offset from the reality?
