Case for primes
1

Since getting a 16-85 I've wanted some way of looking after my short primes. Not to use when shooting, as they'll be in my shoulder bag then. But to keep them safe when travelling around and at times when the 16-85 is on the camera and in the main bag.

Most lens cases are a bit useless because they're designed for one long lens not three short ones. The open at one end only. I wanted something that opened most of the way around, so I can pick out any of the lenses.

In the end I found a case that's intended for scuba-diving gear, strangely. It's called Large Oyster Box, from www.miflexhoses.co.uk

It's quite rigid, and padded too, so does a decent job of protecting what's inside. The plastic caps stop the lenses rubbing together end to end.
