ERR 01 With Canon Extension Tube EF25 II on 5DMk4
I picked up a Canon brand Extension tube not long ago, the EF25 II and I really haven't used it much; today may have been the second time. It seems to me when I used it the first time I didn't have any issues. Today, however, I am getting the Err 01 message on a variety of lenses, "not communicating" that the contacts are dirty and need cleaning. However, it seems to work ok on the maximum aperture setting only. I did gently clean the contacts. Without the extension tube, all works fine. Anyone else had this issue? It would appear to be some problem with the Extension Tube. It is only a month or two old; should I just figure out how to send it back to Canon for repair? Thanks.
