I'm just starting out in exploring B&W photography.....I have a bunch of existing photos that would look great with color removed so am doing the conversion using Photoshop CC.
Perhaps it's a different workflow that I"m not knowing of, but when I do all the processing as I would with color images, on my B&W images, I see grain and noise - ie. like in the clouds of a landscape shot. Perhaps, I"m doing too much of some setting in the blue zone...I"m not sure as I can't recall what steps I did.
This seems to be a consistent observation so far - I would upload a photo, but can't at the moment, but will do later.
Any feedback would be appreciated.
