I've had my ZS(TZ)100 since early February, as a portable alternative for family outings and biking, and have around 5k files from it. It's actually better for me to shoot raw and adjust all of those parameters in my post processing. Raw images also offer more flexibility for adjusting tonal curve and WB, than do original jpegs.

Thanks Papa48. Eventually it may come down to needing to use RAW, but for now I'm still trying to see what's possible through tuning the JPEG settings.

Based on my early experimenting with jpeg settings, I concur with yours, except that I like a bit less contrast in order to preserve highlight detail. Sometimes I changed to Natural rendering, if outdoor light was extreme in contrast.
