darktable doesn't show the active AF point - why?

Dear colleagues, when I am previewing my pictures in the camera, one of the display modes shows me (with the tiny green "+" cross) which exact AF point got the focus locked at the moment when the shot was taken.

So I am certain that this info is stored somewhere in EXIF.

Also, I have seen some PC software packages which show you where was your focus (maybe it was ACDSee? Lightroom?).

But when I import the image from the camera into darktable, it does not show me the active AF point position. Maybe I am missing something but I didn't find any traces of this feature neither in configuration settings nor in the manual.

It would be so great to have AF point displayed in lighttable thumbnails and in darktable left-side preview, too.

Is it at all possible with darktable? Maybe some module exists for this? Maybe I just need to wait for the next release? Help me, please. Thanks in advance!

Regards, Andrea
