I have both the 55-200 and the 100-400 and love them dearly but for a trip to Europe I think I'd have to (reluctantly) leave the 100-400 at home just due to it's size and weight. I think the 55-200 would be a good substitute as it's still 300mm FoV on FF which years ago in the film era was considered an exotic lens by many. IMO the 50-140 is again too big and heavy and doesn't provide enough reach.
