If Nikon's Line-up is so good...(con't)
I'd like to point out, Sony does have a DSLR line-up. When their A900 was released, it should have lured many people away from Nikon because the camera had the same resolution as the D3x and cost less than 1/2 the price. Yet it didn't for a number of reasons, mostly due to Nikon's existing lens system and people's (then) lack of familiarity with Sony as major camera player. Then Sony went heavily into mirrorless and with FF, really found their niche. Now, certainly if Nikon's mirrorless FF are good, they'll likely take back a good portion of the market from Sony buyers who went the Sony route to get away from the bulk of the DSLR. What has been lacking from mirrorless is also a result of their goal of size reduction relative to DSLR's. They lack the comfortable ergonomics of the DSLR. If Nikon's have good grips, this will make even more people migrate or try them first.
