Is Canon 6D II Conducive for Wildlife?

Is the 6D Mark II conducive to wildlife photography?  Please note I am NOT referring to "birds in flight" type photography but mostly stationary birds, slower moving animals, macro wildlife (i.e. frogs and insects) and often in lower (not Low) light conditions?  I already have the 7D Mark II and considering the 6D II as back-up.  Thank You.
