That is what the topic is, if you buy a kit (like E-M1 + 12-40mm) and you sell the lens but not the body, the kit lens (like 12-40mm) warranty would be invalid.

Wrong. You just have to give a copy of your purchase receipt to the buyer and the warranty will be valid for the lens too.
