I picked up a Tamron 150-600 G2 a couple weeks ago and I've noticed a glow around lighter areas in the photos. It doesn't look like chromatic aberration to me but I'm not really sure what it is.

I just want to make sure this isn't something abnormal or a defect in the lens. Any thoughts or advice is welcome.

Here are a couple photos showing the glow. It's especially visible around the dove's head, but somewhat around the woodpecker's chest.

Dove picture: Sun on roof shingles = heat rising. Can look like as if a soft filter was applied. Atmospheric conditions  are exaggerated, the longer the focal length.

Second pic: Hard to say. ISO 8000 in flat light is not a recipe for super sharpness. Also 1/1000th of a second (handheld I assume) does not guarantee, that there was no camera shake involved.
