Ah I see. Yeah, it was my understanding that the ability to focus a bit past infinity for zooms with hard focus stops was pretty standard. My Sigma 17-50 does the same. With the Tokina, putting the indicator right in the middle of the infinity symbol seems to nail infinity focus pretty well.
