Which OM-D for enthusiastic traveller on budget

I know this topic has been discussed previously, but still very confused about which Olympus OM-D camera to get. I started taking photos with a Canon EOS M a couple of years ago, and now looking for a upgrade. I narrowed my search into mft due to portability, and chose Olympus ahead of Panasonic mainly because of aestethics.

Anyway, I would be really happy for any advice regarding which OM-D camera to get. I will be looking into the second hand market, and will consider:

  • M5 mark ii (hi-res mode, weather sealed).
  • M10 mark ii (cheapest).
  • M10 mark iii (lighter than M10, probably a bit cheaper).

I did also consider M1, but disregarded it due to its form factor. In any case, which camera would be the best buy? Initially I would would just use the panny 12-32 mm on a trip to Asia, but of course add better lenses further on. I enjoy taking photos while travelling, mostly on landscape and scenery, but want a secure proof all-round camera for daily life. I do change settings manually, use HDR modes at times. I shoot mostly RAW if that makes any difference.

Which house would you prefer in this scenario, i.e. mostly travel but also future proof all-rounder for daily use?

Leica M10
