It's this the beginning of the end for Micro Four Thirds?

It seems the day is almost upon us... The two headed monster of Canon and Nikon are rumored to unveil "serious" full frame mirrorless cameras.
We all knew this day would come, so did Olympus and Panasonic. They had time to prepare, improve market share, but they've seemed to do the opposite, letting Sony, Fujifilm, even Canon in Japan gain marketshare over the originators of Mirrorless.
So what has MFT done to combat this? Well, much to nothing, aside from video. They've gotten expensive, larger (still smaller than FF), but compared to say Sony, Sony has both FF and APS-C offerings and they done this in less time than MFT. Fujifilm has APS-C as well as Medium format.
MFT has.... Epensive premium Primes and Zooms, limited by a smaller sensor.
Even Fro Knows Photo (who I dislike) covered the rumors and slightly mentions the upcoming end to DSLRs, but aside from video, I see MFT ending around the same time. Canon and Nikon with their marketing, brand loyalty and lens selection will have many flock back to them and their Mirrorless system.
So where does that leave everyone else?
I see Sony slotted in a close third place "IF" these FF mirrorless cameras from Canikon are serious contenders. If not, Sony would be in 2nd, behind Canon, with Nikon 3rd.
I see Fujifilm in 4th place, and I hate to say this, but I see Fujifilm as the New Micro Four Thirds. They will have smaller bodies compared to the FF ones, a very good Lens selection, their IBIS and Video will improve, and they have a Larger sensor than MFT.
This leaves MFT on the outside, with many owners jumping ship. It's looking like the end of Four Thirds all over again, Expensive Bodies and Lenses, limited by a small sensor.
As for me, I'll keep one MFT body for video only, and I'll see what these FF mirrorless systems are all about, but being that I own Canon lenses, I'll probably go that route.
Micro Four Thirds was ok, they were on top by creating Mirroless, now they're about to hit Rock Bottom. They had their chance...
