I've had no luck at all with the 16-50mm "S" lens regardless of which body I put it on.. NX30, NX1000, NX1. It also throws the balance of the camera off with its massive weight. It fails most times to focus accurately and I find the resolution low quaility. I was disappointed and considered selling off all of my samsung equipment.

Veducci is referring to the 16-50 PZ KIT lens, nit the S lens.

The 16-50 S lens is one of the better zoom lenses I, and a lot other people - including the specialists in this site that awarded the 2015 best lens award- that I have ever used, and one of the main reasons a lot of us staying in the system.

It is an ideal combo with the NX1, obviously is a pro grade lens, and doesn't fit small bodies, but it is the only one starting from 2f, and stabilized (the Fuji isn't, Canon M has no pro lenses).

I seriously, and others that I have heard or read of, consider it as sharp as the 18-35 Sigma that everyone lovea so much, while it goes from 2-2.5f on a wider scale than the Sigma (24mm vs 28mm in full frame equiv. which is huge for me) and of course a lot more tele (but it is 2.8 after 35m, still it goes up there and transformed to a portrait lens at near 77mm full frame equiv.).

Samsung still officially services NX cameras, there are plenty of people doing it, even the last few weeks. Even in my country that have abandoned the camera market since the NX300 (final released NX camera here) and even for older bodies.
