My first and last with the 7D
My first and last with the 7D

I was looking at the still works thread and thought I would start a new thread highlighting the start and end of an era, well for me anyway.
This is the earliest image I have from my 7D. It was shutter action number 11. It was the first real picture I took. I bought my camera in Bristol then went home to collect the dog and set off for a walk along the Kennet and Avon canal. This was on 14th August 2005. I hit the shutter a few times at home to see that it worked but didn't actually take a picture of anything specific. My head was still in the film focus of only pressing the shutter when it really counted.

And this is the very last one that I took on 12th September 2017. The camera is still going strong and now adds photos to my wife's collection rather than mine.

Interestingly thats only a total of 6100 images. Even now I still only press the shutter when I'm happy with the image. I used my new A7Riii in continuous shutter mode for the first time yesterday trying to photograph dragonflies. I shot 300+ frames in a couple of hours. A very different way of taking photos
