Got an RX100 (1), Now What

I just snagged an RX100 1st edition for $150, it comes with a grip & magnetic CPL polarizer. It will be used for landscapes on the go mostly or everyday life otherwise, backing up a Nikon DSLR.

Now how do I make the most of it in terms of mapping the buttons & controls? I shoot in aperture priority so I figure set the lens control ring for shifting f stops, another button for quick ISO and another for exposure compensation access, maybe also Steady Shot off-on for low light. I figure I'll use the electronic level a lot, is it able to overlay the live image? Should I map that to a button or will it just toggle through the display button? What setting to make the LCD as bright as possible? Other tips in general? (Sharpness noise reduction settings for best JPEGs although yes I will shoot Raw too.)
