That depends on the camera. My G80 in A mode for example, will raise the ISO before lowering the shutter speed.

Does it really? I feel sorry for Panasonic users. On a reasonable implementation, it would only raise the ISO is the minimum shutter speed had been reached.

I couldn't agree more! Nevertheless, the camera works well and gives good results. But I've made it my habit to keep half an eye on the settings displayed in the EVF so that I can intervene if I feel it necessary.
