+1 I really enjoy using the 50 STM.  It's so small and light, and what I like most about it is how well it behaves (AF is silent, quick, and sure).  If you've ever used the older "Thrifty Fifty" (50mm f/1.8 mk II), then you know what I mean!  

I also have the little 40 STM, which is likewise very nice to shoot.  I just don't use it very much, as (for me) the focal length is kind of a tweener, and it's nice having that extra stop if I need it.
