Replace A350 with A35: will it be an upgrade?

Hi all,

currently, I'm still using my old Sony A350 DSLR. I'm relatively pleased with it, although the noise on higher ISO levels can be annoying.

Although I'm not in the market for a new camera, I can get a SLT A35 from a colleague for a fair price. This still is a relatively old camera but perhaps it could be an improvement?

I've read both reviews on this site and when shooting in JPEG, the A35 shows less noise on higher ISO's but the reviewer states that in RAW, the noise levels are below par in the 2011 entry level camera's.

Comparing the studio scenes of both reviews, the A35 show a little more detail on higher ISO's.

Other advantages of the A35 isthe number of focus points

It will come with the stock 18-55mm and a Sigma 70-300 (presumably F4-5.6).

Bottomline question: will the A35 be an upgrade over the A350?

Kind regards,
