Shoot raw + JPG, then set your film emulation to monochrome. The raws will still offer you the color option when you get home.

Set your focus peaking color to red.

Then when you look thru the viewfinder you will see a monochrome image with red focus highlighting. Much easier to see the highlighting.

thats exactly the way I shot these with the XT100 and Mitakon 35

I'm delighted with my copy of this lens on a daily basis!  Love this lens!

I am looking forward to using it on my X-T100.

I've got a 6-stop ND filter on it now, so I can shoot wide open in broad daylight.  I can recommend this if you haven't already tried it.
