Debating between Oly 14-150 and Panasonic 14-140
1

I need a lightweight superzoom for my Olympus EM-1i to take on an upcoming trip to Machu Picchu and other parts of Peru.  I'm debating between the Olympus 14-150 and the Panasonic 14-140 (see product tags for the exact models).  The Olympus has weatherproofing, and the Panasonic doesn't.  It may be drizzly or misty at Machu Picchu -- would the weatherproofing provide a real advantage?  The Panasonic is a slightly lighter in weight (less than an ounce difference).  The Panasonic scored 17 points in a review by DXOMARK, vs. 13 points for the Olympus.  The Panasonic has a closer minimum focus distance (11.81" vs. 19.89" for the Olympus).  Yes, there's a cost difference, but I'm not too concerned about that, and I don't really care about the extra 10mm of focal length between the 140mm and the 150mm.  Any thoughts about which lens to choose?
