E-M1 electronic shutter = reduced image quality?

I discovered something - I did some test shots comparing images taken at ISO 200, 1/250 sec first using the normal shutter, then using the electronic shutter. I repeated this three times then analysed the three sets of images at 100%.

I was amazed to find that there was an obvious reduced image quality with each one of the images shot with the electronic shutter.

Has anyone else experienced this? If there's anyone out there with an E-M1 (mk 1) who'd like to try it I'd really like to know whether you get the same results.

(I added this to an earlier tread I raised, but thought I'd also post a new one)
