Nex-6 to....RX100? A6300/6500?

Currently own a Nex-6 and have taken it on vacation with a couple of lenses to keep load light. Last year I decided I wanted to slim down even more for travel and had decided I would pick up an RX100 this year.

As I was about to pull the trigger, I thought with the cost of the RX100 v, I could upgrade the Nex-6 to the 6300 or 6500 - something I have considered in the past due to the faster auto-focus (over Nex-6). And still have a relatively small travel camera, although not small enough for a pocket.

For the most part, I have been happy with the 16-50 copy that I have, however that is based largely on the size. Outside of that I would probably lean on the SEL35 1.8. So my internal battle is:

1) keep Nex-6 and get the RX100 for travel

2) Upgrade Nex-6 to 6300/6500 and run with the 16-50

3) Upgrade Nex-6 and pick up a lens that would still provide portability but great images. (Sigmas 19). In looking at last years vacation, the majority of my photos were in the 16-30mm range (a few at 50mm), but I would say 16mm was the dominant length.

All of that said, this year will be an active vacation thus keeping size and lens changes to a minimum is of high interest.

Any thoughts would be appreciated!
