F-CHROME setting a film simulation?

I recently picked up a FinePix AX300 (circa 2011) to play with and see that it has a color mode called F-CHROME. From testing, I can see that it increases both color saturation and contrast.

What I'm curious about is whether this mode is also intended to simulate a particular Fuji film stock. Is it perhaps a less sophisticated version of Classic Chrome or is it just giving pumped up saturation and contrast?

Any thoughts on this would be great.
