What's wrong with shooting Aperture priority?

Hi,

Just wondered what was so bad about using Aperture priority mode? Or shutter speed mode?

I see a lot of experts or professionals seem to state how you should always shoot in fully manual mode. When I shoot, I like to often use Aperture priority mode for example as I can control crispness of the subject, the background, exposure and conversely I have the ability to control light and sharpness of the image and other things.

Is there a major advantage over full manual mode?

Thanks
