Between a6300 and a7ii
1

Hello,

First, i'm apologizing in advance if I used wrong grammars because English isn't my main language

Currently I have my brother Sony A6000 on my hand for the last two months and I absolutely loves it. It's so good on low light, good image quality, and a superb camera for video and short filmmaking. I don't know about the auto focus because I almost never used it l, I mainly use manual focus because I'm using adapted lenses (Helios, Mir and Jupiter). Its a lot better than my 600D. But well the pain thing is it doesn't have native cinema like profile picture like slog or Cinestyle, but the neutral -3 - 2 -2 isnt bad. They absence of mic port also gave me some hassle since I cant use my rode video mic.

I'm using my camera usually 50% for photos (outdoor, usually potrait) and 50% videos (outdoor, low-light condition such as indoor and night shot) and usually don't really need in built af because I'm using zhiyun crane with servo motor follow focus. I've been searching for a lot cameras and confused between choosing a6300 and a7ii. Its body only edition priced almost the same in Indonesia. A6300 has 4k which is good but i heard it has overheating issues on 4k. I live in Jakarta and usually it's above 32 degree celcius. A7ii in other hand only have 1080p but it has built in stabilizer and the most important its full frame and a good low light camera. I think a6300's 4k will overheat faster on my environment. To be honest I'm okay with 1080p and 4k is a bonus for me I guess.

So based on those information, should I buy a6300 or a7ii? OR should I buy a6000 and invest on more lenses. I'm planning to upgrade my body again on the next 3 years

Thank you in advance
