Crop reset/restore for Panasonic RAW vs Olympus?

Olympus retains full RAW files despite other aspect ratios / crop modes being set in-camera.

Cropped Olympus raw file can simply be recovered by going into crop tool on ACR/LR to reveal camera crop marks and readjusting crop if needed. This offers great flexibility.

But cropped Panasonic RAW files didn't have this capability before. Has this design changed in latest cameras, eg. GX9, G9 etc?

It will be a shame if GX9 / G9 still don't this feature. I really want to get a GX9 but lacking this feature might push me to Pen-F instead which is a bit dated now with less slightly less capabilities.
