M Zuiko 7-14 f2.8 vs. everything else

But especially vs. everything that can shoot 7mm. Yes that 1-2mm make a difference. I know I own the old Zuiko 7-14mm f4.

Mentioning that old lens is important because it has very special rendering that is hard to describe. Very pleasing. Of course it's enormous too. And it AFs slowly.  Pros and cons. But I'm still not convinced the new Olympus can match the IQ of the old lens.

I guess the small lumix 7-14 f4 is under consideration. Relatively cheap and small. But blue orbs on Olympus cameras and the zoom ring goes the wrong way.
