And that's where the 56 goes haywire. It's bokeh quality is subpar, with straight aperture blades to boot. Very busy and not smooth. The APD is a little better, but not by much.

If you compare it to the Nikon short portrait lenses (58 and both 85's) there is a big difference.

Fuji say (on aperture blades): "7 (rounded diaphragm opening)"
Although if they are straight it makes for better SunStars (with 14 points) so glass is 1/4 full...
