Reducing weight with Canon Gear
1

Hello guys,

I'm shooting a lot of weddings lately and my hands are starting to suffer because of it. Finger pain is common, I'm tired of carrying 10+ pounds of gear to every event.

A few things to notice:
- I make a full income with photography so money is not a big a problem when buying gear.
- I want to replace whatever I might have to replace to reduce weight.
- The first thing I replaced is my Yongnuo 600RT II for a Canon 430 EX III (less power, less weight).
- I was about to change my Sigma 35 for the Canon 35 f1.4L II, but I noticed it's even heavier than the Sigma.

I currently use:
- Canon 5D4 + 6D (backup body)
- Canon 85 1.2
- Sigma 35 1.4
- Canon 16-35 f2.8L II
- Yongnuo 600 RT II
- Spider Holster (the best thing I ever bought for my back)

I'm considering swapping:
- Sigma 35 1.4 for Canon 35 f2 IS
- Canon 16-35 f2.8L II for 24 f2.8 IS
- Yongnuo 600RT II for Canon 430EX III (already replaced)
- Canon 5D4 for 6D mark 2.
- Maybe, just maybe, Canon 85 1.2 for 85 1.8 (this is 1kg for one lens, but I love it)

Anything you could help me with? Any other ideas on how to reduce weight?
Did any of you replace the mentioned lenses for the cheaper/lighter versions?

THANK YOU!

Canon EOS 6D
