the dreaded orange color cast,,,, (what would you do??)

Hi,

I recently had the opportunity to photograph dancers doing "ball room dance".  It was done in (you guessed it!!),, a big ball room.

I did quite a few shots without flash, and the photos are really orange.  (Yes, there was a lot of lighting in the ball room,, big chandeliers).

Camera: Canon 7D2 on auto white balance, raw.

(Though I did do some on the tungsten setting and I wasn't overly impressed with those results either)

Anyway,, I've been correcting the shots in Lr,,,, putting the color temp slider to the left as much as necessary.

And,, sometime further reducing the "orange" in the saturation under the HSL panel.

So, I'm asking,, would you do that too??  A combination of color temp slider and saturation under HSL?

Or would you leave the color temp alone and reduce the orangeness under saturation only??

Any other ideas???

Thank you!
