So I did a fairly informal test. Not claiming the results are lab stuff, since I don't have one of those calibration kits at present. Conditions were not ideal, it has to be said. I was on a tripod, with the legs spread wide. But it was a bit windy, light wasn't great, and even as steady as I could make it and reinforce it with an arm resting on top of the lens, a good bit of motion was still shaking the frame around when magnified to the max in live view.

This is at 600. I was actually aiming for the small number sequence under the vertical bar code. Of course, at a distance of nearly 100 feet, almost the ENTIRE CARD was contained within the small central focus square at full magnification.

That said, I took a lot of pictures, and the quality of the number sequence seen here is very consistent across all those pictures. It is significantly not razor sharp.

First picture is at 1:1 at appx 100 feet. Second pic is at 3:1 magnification.
