I "think" one of the closest things that stereophotography can "duplicate" to 2.5D is a "wiggle" view. or "wigglegram". Typically these are gifs that contain just two views of the stereo pair, alternating back and forth (left-right-left-right and nauseum). There is software that can generate a multitude intermediate frames for a smoother view.
