Canon 7DII, 1DX MKII, 100-400 USM II, 500 F4 USMII & 1.4x +2x extenders for wildlife

I'am currently shoot wild life especially birds with a Canon 7DII and 100-400 USMII. I sometimes add the 1.4x extender III. However BIF with 1.4 x can be challenging due to only having the central focus point. I also often shoot during low light and therefore have to up the ISO to maintain shutter speeds of 1/1000 or faster.

I'm therefore thinking of buying the Canon 1DX II and 500 mm f4 USM III and the 2x Extender III.

I think this combination will give me the versatility I require.

In lower light situations/situation where I don't need to heavy crop I can use the 1DX MKII with 500 f4 USM II with one of the extenders.

If I'm going to need to crop heavily and the light is good I can use the 7DII with the 500 mm with the 1.4x extender.

I think the 7DII with either the 70-200 f2.8 USMII or 100-400 USMII will be a good 2nd body when using the 1DX MKII with the 500 mm.

Do you think this will be a good path to take?
