Beware of DSTE "NP-FZ100" batteries
1

The first few times I charged mine, it looked pretty good.

They I left it in for a day in my A7III with the TechArt Pro adapter - which doesn't discharge a real Sony NP-FZ100 battery under similar conditions - and the DSTE discharged 30%.

I own 3 real Sony NP-FZ100 batteries - enough for 2 in my vertical grip and a spare - and I invested in the DSTE because one of their batteries for my A7II performed similar to Sonys in my A7II.

But their new NP-FZ100 model appears deficient.

PS: Beware of black NP-FW50 "Sony" batteries on eBay.

They appear to be fakes. They rapidly discharge under load.

Purchases from 2 vendors tell me they are fakes. I challenged one Chinese seller who was very apologetic and refunded my purchase, saying he bought them from an ordinarily reliable wholesaler.
