Coming back

I am thinking about coming back to Canon. Today I am using a Fuji X-Pro2 with 14/2.8, 23/1.4 and 50/2. The kit is light and nice to carry. However, the AF is not so nice - even if the subject stands still and the focus point is straight on the eye / face it misses a bit too often which makes me "over shoot" (ie 4 pictures instead of 1 beacuase I dont trust the camera).

So... I am thinking of going back to Canon: 6D mk1 + 24/2.8 + 35/2 + 85/1.8 + a 300/4 or 400/5.6.

What do you think? Is it slightly stupid leaving "new tech" for "older tech" as the times seems to be chaning?

This summer I am going to Austria to hike with my 2 children, the thought of having a DSLR around my neck while carrying the 1 year old on my back does not appeal to me, but on the other hand the AF of the Fuji doesn't either...
