Sigma 100-400 with Nikon D750
I have been working with this lens a lot. First tried it on the DX Nikon D7200. Thought the DX extra reach would help with better focused photos. I wasn't happy with most all of them. I was pushing ISO up too high and getting lots of noise.
So today I put the lens on my D750, set Auto ISO to 800 MAX, minimum shutter speed at 1/2000, and kept it in Aperture Priority. I used the Sigma dock to update the firmware, but did not change any of the focus numbers. I am pleased with this improvement. I also put a collar on the lens, backed by some gaffer tape, and used it on my good monopod, which helped me handle the camera and lens better than me trying handheld.
