pics from sl2/200 D seems to dark

I just got the EOS SL2 with kit lens and out of the box the pictures seems to be to dark;  shadow areas to dark, sunny areas to light.

With default settings I tried Evaluative and Center weight Average metering, but not much luck in either Live View or through viewfinder, all pictures taken in P mode and with standard picture style.

I post a few sample pictures taking outdoors on a sunny day and indoors. 16:9 images from Live View; 3:2 from OVF

Anybody has any idea if that is normal or advise what i need to change? Coming from a Panasonic FZ200.

Thanks in advance.

shadow area very dark; fence blown out center weight metered

center weight metering with flash

center weight metering no flash

eval metered

metered on window with ev+1 2/3; center weight
