Does anybody know what these white spots on my lens are?

So, i recently went camping with my friends and decided to bring my camera along with me. It rained pretty hard, luckily my camera didn't get wet as I kept it in my camera bag right away after using it. My lens(sigma 18-35mm 1.8) isn't weather sealed though and halfway through the trip it had wet transparent dots inside the lens, oddly enough none on the glass, just around the barrel behind the front element. It's pretty humid where I live so right after getting home I immediately put my camera and lens in my drybox and kept it at 45% thinking it was probably just moisture. Now those watery spots around the barrel look like dried white paint, it doesn't affect the image in anyway but just looks annoying. It doesn't look like fungus cause that usually grows on glass and looks webby, so does anybody know what this is? and can I somehow get this cleaned?

schneideritis maybe?
