Again I completely agree. S5 pro was good in its days but has been surpassed in some areas. However it still produces unmatched images in good light (studio or day light). That's why I enjoy using it but when I (really) need sharpness, resolution, high iso, etc, I can use a modern camera of my choice so it's good we have so many alternatives to choose from. I think you should stop looking for the perfect camera or thinking the next iteration will be a 'game changer'. In my opinion most modern cameras have the same look, you can't distinguish them unless you read the exif and as long as Fuji use Sony sensors you can't hope for more, it's like a film made by the same company but sold under different names. When Fuji start making their own carefully crafted sensors paired with their exquisite jpeg engine (the recipe of 'S' cameras) then you can expect some very good things to happen.
